short description

Surface-mounted fan for air extraction, air volume 61 m³/h, with humidity control and base load circuit

Product description

Model with humidity control and base load circuit

  • Barrier-free product, as automatic switching on/off is possible via humidity control.
  • Fully automatic intelligent humidity control.
  • Switch-on humidity does not have to be set. Fan independently monitors the room air humidity and extracts air automatically.
  • Not speed controllable.
  • Not suitable for second room air extraction.
  • Can be operated manually via a switch, e.g. full load is switched on using a light switch.
  • Standard switching: Fan runs in base load operation, humidity control is active, full load operation when the switch-on point is exceeded, base load operation when humidity falls below switch-off point.
  • More switching variants: Fan operation with or without base load operation; manual activation of full load; the fan is switched on/off using a switch.
  • Activation of full load using light switch and a fan overrun control linked to this (15 minute overrun time).
  • The fan runs until the air humidity in the room has fallen below the switch-off humidity level. After 60 min at the latest, the overrun time is activated and the fan is then switched off.

Features

  • Surface-mounted fan with ISO Coarse 30 % (G2) filter for air extraction in open-plan kitchens, bathrooms or WCs.
  • DN 75/80 plastic blowout socket with plastic airstream-operated backflow preventer.
  • Plastic backflow preventer also serves as a cold smoke preventer.
  • Housing can be rotated, so the blowout socket can be connected to the main duct at the top left or top right.
  • Trouble-free filter change without tools.
  • Simple and quick installation of the fan in the housing via the snap-on attachment and the electrical plug connector.
  • Colour: traffic white, similar to RAL 9016.
  • All MAICO ER units have an IP X5 degree of protection and can be installed in area 1 in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-701, even with water jets. For details see planning instructions.
  • Protection class II.
  • The extremely steep characteristic curve shows the high pressure capacity of the ER fans.
  • Robust energy-saving capacitor motor.
  • Motor with thermal overload protection.
  • Maintenance-free, with enclosed ball bearings on both sides.
  • Volumetric flow characteristic curve and air leakage rate checked by TÜV Bayern e.V (German Technical Inspection Agency). Air leakage rate < 0.01 m³/h.
  • Shaft level difference according to DIN 52210-6, tested by IAB Oberursel (The Institute for Acoustics and Building Physics in Germany).
  • With VDE symbol.
  • National technical approval, approval no.: Z-51.1-42;
  • Certificates of approval on request or on our website – www.maico-ventilatoren.com.

Wiring diagram

ER-AP 60 H - Wiring diagram

The fan always runs at the base load. If the humidity is higher than the switch-on humidity, the fan will automatically switch to full load.

Switching option 1

Fan always runs at base load. If humidity is higher than the switch-on humidity, the fan will automatically switch to full load. Additionally, it is possible to manually switch to full load with S1 switch.

Using a 1-pin switch can cause reverse polarity voltages. Combination with an X2 capacitor necessary!

Switching option 2

The fan is switched manually to base load with switch S1. If humidity is higher than the switch-on humidity, the fan will automatically switch to full load.

Switching option 3

The fan is manually switched on and off with switch S1. The fan always overruns until the air humidity in the room has fallen below the switch-off humidity level.
