The term BIM describes an optimised overall process of building planning and construction, based on 3D planning data. In other words, with the help of BIM data, buildings can be accompanied throughout their entire life cycle – from requirements planning to design, implementation planning, tendering, construction phase, commissioning, use, conversion, remodelling/restoration and demolition. For this purpose, the data relevant for the respective planning is digitally processed into a 3D model and visualised.
The advantages of BIM data lie in a continuous data flow, increased planning quality and the minimisation of costs and time processes. All entities involved in a building process, such as designers, architects, planners and various trades, can work precisely on a uniform data basis with the help of BIM data.
MAICO aspires to always offer you the best service – measured against the latest developments and trends on the market. Use our BIM data to make your everyday work easier!
We provide you with the BIM data for MAICO devices for download on the platforms BIMcatalogs.net and PARTcommunity 3D CAD Catalogues & Models from Cadenas and ARGE Neue Medien. Some products are already classified according to VDI 3805. Choose your favourite from a variety of different BIM formats!
If you are working with systems such as Autodesk Revit, Graphisoft ArchiCAD, Nemetschek Allplan, Tekla and SketchUP, you can download the free BIM plug-in.
This allows you to integrate our BIM objects directly into the existing building planning without leaving the respective CAD system.
