Air filters have the task of filtering low concentrations of solid and liquid impurities out of the air. Their main area of application is to clean the outside air and protect the heat exchanger, as well as the other equipment, from contamination. For a hygienic and energy-saving operation of the system!

In 2018, DIN EN ISO 16890 replaced the former DIN EN 779. This European standard evaluates the effectiveness of air filters with respect to various fine dust fractions in PM (Particulate Matter).
