Product description

Features

  • Special energy savings due to the DC motor.
  • With automatic volumetric flow regulation for constant air quantities.
  • Sheet steel housing, powder-coated
  • Colour: pearl white, similar to RAL 1013.
  • Inner coating of heat resistant synthetic material, non-hygroscopic.
  • With two integrated G4 filters, filter change is possible without tools.
  • 4 DN 125 duct connections on the top of the unit.
  • PH certification.
  • Connection to KNX systems possible.

Heat exchanger

  • Counterflow plate heat exchanger made of synthetic material (PETG).
  • The heat exchanger can be removed easily once the front plate has been unscrewed.
  • The heat exchanger can be easily cleaned using water.

Frost protection

  • Guaranteed frost protection ensures that the heat exchanger does not freeze.
  • The frost protection switches the supply air fan off when the outgoing air temperature is too low.
  • Recommendation: Combine heat recovery units with an earth heat exchanger.

Energy-efficient fans

  • 2 centrifugal DC fans, one fan each for supply air and exhaust air.
  • Fans with centrifugal impellers curved to the front.
  • 3 ventilation levels:
    • 1 = Basic ventilation/Night operation
    • 2 = Normal/Daytime operation
    • 3 = Intensive/Party operation
  • Within each ventilation level, the air volume can be adjusted from 70 m3/h up to 165 m3/h in 5 m3/h levels adjustable.

Mounting instructions

  • With bracket for wall installation, feet for floor installation.
  • Installation on the wall or a pedestal is required to ensure access to the condensation connection.
  • Housing covers can be unscrewed.
  • Provide sound absorbers on the inlet and outlet sides.

Electrical connection

  • When delivered, the device is assembled and ready for service.

Condensation drain

  • Condensation is drained out from the underside of the unit. Condensation drain (3/4" internal thread) to connect up to a siphon.

ERH - electrical air heaters

If the WRG 180 EC is installed in a passive-energy house, a heat register in the outside air is necessary, in order to guarantee a permanent air exchange. It preheats cold outside air and keeps the heat exchanger free of frost. If the outside air temperature gets cold, the external frost protection heating of the ERH 12-1 switches on and protects the WR 180 EC against icing up.
