Heat exchanger

• Aluminium counterflow plate heat exchanger.
• The heat exchanger can be removed without tools.
• Separate air flows, separation by means of aluminium plates.
• The heat exchanger can be exchanged with the summer casssete SK 300 for operation in summer. No tools are required for exchange.
• Easy cleaning of the heat exchanger with water and a mild detergent.

Anti-frost protection

• The frost protection feature switches the supply air fan off when the outgoing air temperature is too low (< 4 °C).
• The heat pump switches the compressor off when the outgoing air temperature is too low ( +0.5° C).
• If the outgoing air rises to +0.5°C, the compressor automatically switches on again.
• Always combine heat recovery systems with earth heat exchangers or electrical frost protection heating, in order to be able to guarantee trouble-free operation, even at very low temperatures. Furthermore, an earth heat exchanger guarantees additional heater power rating in winter and additional cooling power in summer.

Heat recovery fan

• 2 centrifugal fans, one fan each for supply air and exhaust air.
• Fans with centrifugal impellers curved to the front.
• Thermal overload protection as standard feature.
• 3 ventilation steps: 1 = economy setting, 2 = normal, 3 = high.

Mounting instructions

• Housing covers can be unscrewed.
• Connect air channels and condensation drainage prior to commissioning.
• Recommended for installation in cellars or store rooms.
• Sound absorbers on the inlet and outlet side are recommended.
• Material: Sheet steel, galvanised
• Use ELM flexible cuffs to prevent transfer of vibrations onto the duct system.

Electrical connection

• When delivered, the device is assembled and ready for service.
• WRG 300 WP: 3-core connection cable with safety plug.
• WRG 300 WPK: 3-core connection cable, 1.5 m long.
• WRG 300 WP: Controlled using RLS 1 accessories.
• WRG 300 WPK: Thermostat controller (5° - 30° C) included in delivery.

Condensation drain

• The condensation is drained at the condensation drainage fitted on the side of the unit.

Safety devices

• Fan motor with thermal overload protection: The thermal contact switches off under thermal overload and comes on automatically again after cooling down.
• Heat pump: HIgh-pressure protection (Pressostat) with reclosing lockout and RESET key.
