- Speed controller for continuously variable control of the fans.
- Minimum speed can be set.
- Can be used for surface mounting and recess mounting, exception: STX 4 only for surface mounting.
- Principle of function: Phase angle control.
- Recommended distance from radios and TVs: 3 m.
- The fans are switched on at maximum speed by turning the control knob. Turning any further reduces the speed.
- Splash water protected.
- Integrated temperature cut-off protection.
- Orange LED operating indicator.
- CE symbol.
- Including spare fuse.
- Additional switching contact (230 V) e.g. for controlling a shutter.
- There can be a physically induced humming noise at lower speeds, through the use of phase angle technology. TRE... 5-step transformers are therefore used for speed control in rooms requiring quiet fan operations.
- Mounting on walls possible, avoid ceilings as temperature builds up here.
